Andrea was driving over the moors, alongside some of the grazing rights for her farm. On this part of the moor the water for stock is provided by a group of small ponds. They are usually full to the brim, but there’s been very little rain for the past few weeks, and she wonders if there’s still enough water in them.
With a pair of waders always kept in the back of the truck, there’s no reason not to find out how much water is left, is there? So, off she sets in her waders and jeans.
There’s plenty of water in the ponds, but I wonder just how deep it is… 😉
