Andrea had long wanted to ski Les Arcs in France, but it’s an expensive location and hence she booked for quite late in the season, when prices were a little lower.
With the holiday booked she wondered whether she’d done the right thing because in late March the snow can’t be guaranteed. What if it rained instead of snowed? “I wonder if my ski kit is waterproof?”.
Of course there was only one way to put her mind at rest, so she dug out her ski suit, found a pair of padded fur-lined winter riding boots, and off she set to see just how waterproof they were. For an old ski suit it was pretty good!
Sure, after rolling about in a big puddle, a little water leaked along the bum seam, giving her a wet line down the backside of her jods, but actually that was quite a nice feeling. 😉
