It was a lovely early-Autumn day and Andrea was out walking in tartan leggings and a pair of leather riding boots. The ground was very muddy due to the cows that had recently been grazing here. She enjoyed splashing through the ankle deep mud, and she also enjoyed the increasingly wet feet that she was getting in the zip-up riding boots.
Soon she arrived at one of her favourite mudding spots – a really strange area of swampy land where a layer of grass and soil floats on the water beneath; it’s strong enough to walk on, but not to stamp your feet :). She had great fun playing on the rippling grass but it wasn’t long before she was hip deep in the muddy water.
Running into a shallow pond, she slid backward until she was sitting waist deep in water that was surprisingly warm. When she’d tired of rolling and splashing she turned for home, but not before she’d tried to disguise her tartan leggings as a plain brown pair. 🙂
